The CNMG120404AH PLD010 is a specialist indexable turning insert engineered for high-speed finishing of aluminium alloys and non-ferrous materials. The stunning iridescent rainbow PVD coating — clearly visible in the image — is the hallmark of the PLD010 diamond-like coating (DLC), which provides exceptional hardness, near-zero friction, and outstanding resistance to aluminium adhesion and built-up edge. The AH chipbreaker geometry features a sharp, open groove designed to minimise cutting forces and produce excellent surface finishes in soft non-ferrous materials.

Applications
