The GDFM5020N-080GM PR1225 is a high-performance double-ended grooving and parting insert engineered for reliable, precise groove turning and parting-off operations on CNC lathes. The double-ended design — clearly visible in the image with identical cutting edges at both ends — provides 2 cutting edges per insert for excellent cost economy. The PR1225 PVD-coated carbide grade delivers a well-balanced combination of wear resistance and toughness for steel and stainless steel grooving, while the GM chipbreaker geometry ensures consistent chip breaking and curl in deep groove and parting applications.
