The CNMG120412MS PR1535 is a heavy-duty indexable turning insert designed for medium to rough turning of steel and stainless steel. The PVD-coated PR1535 carbide grade delivers outstanding toughness for interrupted cuts, hard spots, and variable cutting conditions, while the MS chipbreaker geometry ensures reliable chip control at the higher feeds and depths of cut typical of roughing operations. The dark PVD coating visible in the image indicates excellent thermal and abrasion resistance.
