The CNMG120404TK PR1535 is a versatile indexable turning insert combining the TK open-groove chipbreaker with the highly tough PR1535 PVD-coated carbide grade in a small 0.4mm nose radius configuration. The small nose radius makes this insert well suited for profiling, contour turning, and finishing passes where dimensional precision is required, while the PR1535 grade and TK chipbreaker provide the toughness needed to handle interrupted conditions. The smooth sinuous groove of the TK chipbreaker is clearly visible in the image.
